Racing Engineering back on track for the test sessions in Barcelona

Racing Engineering team returns to the asphalt on the 9th, 10th and 11th of March 2016 for the GP2 pre-season tests.

The Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit will host the Andalusian team for three days during these first sessions. Afterwards, they will continue testing on the 29th, 30th and 31st of March at the Jerez circuit.

Jordan King will remain this year as one of the pilots of the team for his good results during last season. Who will not be on the team is Alexander Rossi, the 2015 GP2 runner-up, because he has decided to try his luck in the US IndyCar Series.

The big news is that Racing Engineering has already announced the second driver for this season: Norman Nato. All the team expect great results from this French 23-year-old who already got his first experience with Racing Engineering in the post-season tests at Abu Dhabi in November of last year.

Alfonso de Orléans- Borbón, President of Racing Engineering: “We are very pleased to announce that Norman Nato has joined us for the 2016 season. After seeing the progression he made during last season, it was discussed that he would be ready to join our team. Now that it is a reality, we are all working hard to get ready for the first test of the season. We expect Norman to be competitive from the first race of the season since has the talent and the work ethic to step up on the podium from the beginning”.

From Badtoro we wish good luck to the whole Racing Engineering team for this new season. Go Racing!
